Application
A heat medium package raises and circulates hot oil so that process heat can be delivered to several items of equipment across a facility from one central source, rather than firing at each item individually.
SPEC supplies heat medium systems as an option on other units, for example as the reboiler heat source on amine units, and as standalone systems serving a wider plant.

Evidence
For Karakudukmunai (Lukoil) at the Karakuduk field in Kazakhstan, SPEC designed, fabricated and tested a 1,320 kW gas-fired heat medium heater package, and supervised its installation and commissioning at site.
