SPEC Projects
A record of process equipment, skid-mounted systems, modular units and defined engineering and commissioning services delivered by SPEC for gas processing, hydrocarbon recovery, oil treatment, produced water and refining.

How we deliver
For equipment within SPEC’s scope, engineering begins with the process duty and remains coordinated with fabrication, testing and documentation through delivery.
This keeps the interfaces and handovers between design, fabrication and site to a minimum.
01
Every design starts from the duty: feed composition, throughput and product specification. The sizing basis and the fabrication drawings come from the same engineering team.
02
Vessels, skids and modules are built in SPEC facilities to ASME and international codes, with welding, testing and inspection under SPEC's quality management system.

03
Equipment is sized for the conditions it will meet in service: turndown, ambient temperature, transport limits and the constraints of the receiving site.
04
Equipment is assembled, tested and documented before shipment to the extent defined by the project scope, reducing installation and commissioning work on site.

Project capability
How does SPEC approach project delivery?
Design starts from the process duty and stays with the same team through fabrication. Because the engineering disciplines and the workshops sit inside one company, design intent, manufacturing quality and schedule are controlled from datasheet to handover.
What types of process systems does SPEC deliver?
Gas conditioning and sweetening trains, hydrocarbon recovery units, phase separation, oil treatment and stabilisation, produced water treatment, and the ancillary equipment that supports them.
How is equipment sized for site conditions?
Every unit is sized against the operating envelope — feed composition, turndown, ambient conditions and site constraints — and built to ASME Section VIII and other international codes, with welding, inspection and testing controlled under SPEC's quality management system.
Can SPEC support modular and skid-based delivery?
Yes. Where the duty and transport envelope allow, the unit is assembled and tested as a module or skid in SPEC's own workshop, complete with piping, structure, instrumentation and electrical work.
Does SPEC support commissioning and start-up?
Equipment is shipped tested and documented, and SPEC field engineers provide commissioning and start-up support where it is part of the project scope.
